Jon and I are having problems... I am moving out... I am so sad that this is where we are heading towards. I love him, and I miss him already. Why do we have such bad communication? Why is it so hard? Im so sad. :(

New Camera!

I just got a Nikon D40.. I opted for the 40, cause the 60 was just too much for what i was taking... mostly because it had 10.0 pixels, and I didnt need all that. Plus the D40 was a bit cheaper! I love it! I cannot wait post the pictures... you will see a H U G E difference of the quality... craziness!!! I took pictures last night at dinner which was spent on the awesome deck with friends.... I will post those later. WHOOOOO Im such an asian... super pumped for the new camera... now I need a new fanny pack!

The deck is looking pretty good so far this summer! We have tomato's growing, basil, mint, lemon basil, cucumbers, green bell peppers.... and a variety of flowers! We have been grilling on the BBQ most nights, and spending as many nice evenings outdoors enjoying our deck and and weather as much as possible!

BMI is TMI

I went to to the doctors, where they informed me that my BMI is too high and that I need to bring it down... meaning LOSE WEIGHT! Im such a fatty... well that was during my first proposal I was working on... let me just give you an idea how it can be very easy to gain weight when working on a proposal.

1. LATE LATE LATE LONG LONG LONG hours. we are talking 80+ in a week.
2. Catered food always! and its usually something filling... similar to a thanksgiving dinner
3. sweets, snack, soda, sugar everwhere! Gotta keep us awake and writing on these things!
4. Sitting on your ass during those LONG LATE hours!
5. Did I mention we work weekends too?

So, after my first proposal.. I noticed the butt was bigger and the pants were smaller... As soon as my first proposal was finished, I was put on another one. This time I was going to make some changes in the way I was working....

1. No more long hours. I cut it down to about 40-60 a week. Including weekends
2. Eating light on the catered food....
3. Cutting back on the sweet stuff
4. more water
5. walking more during the day

After the last proposal was finished, I was feeling lighter, but I knew I could do better... I am currently still above my "normal" BMI. But, I am feeling better, I am eating MUCH better, I am taking better care of my body, I am staying away from anything that is remotely sweet and delicious! Drinking more water, than I would prefer and its showing! I have already dropped a size since my second proposal... on my way to a better BMI!
