I am reading Augustine's Travels: A World Class Leader Looks at Life, business, and What it Takes to Succeed at Both. Its written bt Norman R. Augustine, he was the chaiman and ex CEO for Lockheed Martin.

In his book he shares a poem by an unknown author, I thought it was pretty cool so I am sharing it also.

Re-Cap!

Just wanted to let you know that Paris was perfect! The mountains and foothills of the blue ridge mountains were beautiful and so peaceful! The dinner at the winery was amazing and delicious! I even ate mushroom bisque! The wine, the food, the B&B, the quiet night, and my boyfriend was perfect!

Off To Paris!

Thats right my dear Diary! Jon and I are off to Paris.... Paris, Virginia that is! To the beautiful scenic view of the blue ridge mountains! Enjoying the sweet sounds of nature, and being in the company of an awesome person. We have a dinner date at Naked Winery, not too far up the road. It will be romantic and just a nice evening alone. Since we have the craziness of the following week in Puerto Rico, where I imagine I will be sunburned and drunk the entire time! ha!

Why Knut?

Why is this cutie polar bear just the most adorable thing in germany right now? I cannot believe that they were thinking about putting him down because he has been too close to human contact. That was their fault from the very beginning. I saw these pictures and my heart just melted! he reminds me of when Boomer was just a pup!

Kanckles are NOT Sexy!

As I was watering my plants on the front porch on Monday, I stepped into a divit in the brick walkway, and sprained my ankle. Now, I am looking at the swollen, blue and purplish colored part of my body that is now called my right Kanckle. It seriously looks like I have no ankle, its straight tree-trunk! Luckily I am hiding it with an Ace bandage and long slacks!

Oh Ankle Gods! Please hear my cries! Please heal my swollen Kanckle before my trip to Puerto Rico next week! I woudl do the Ankle Dance, but I think thats not such a great idea right now!

Maybe I should sacrifice something! haha.... perhaps the yapping dog next door! No wait, maybe my annoying neighbor here at work! That might work! its a win-win for everyone then!

Leap of Faith... Or We are Just That In Love!

I am sitting here at Jon's house watching him try and put a cadence onto his bike, which is currently sitting on its trainer. He is getting frustrated, and I am smiling, not because its funny, but that he is trying so hard to get it right! His training for his 3rd triathlon has started today, he is going through a couple months of intense running, biking and swimming. I am going to be his numero uno supporter!

I am also sitting here smiling and thinking... WHOA... because its also Boomer's first time at his house. He has been wandering around and sniffing things out. Jon's dogs have been very well behaved letting him snoop around in their domain. I think Boomer is eating their food. ha ha.... So far so good.

Had a wedding to attend this weekend! (See picture above!) we had a great time! Jon was in teh wedding, and looked the most handsomest! Very fun times! Another wedding in August I think, then Mizz Erika's in October! Lovely lovely year this has turned out to be. Lots of smiling and laughing, and good times.

We are leaving for the B&B this weekend, then Puerto Rico next week, then in July I am moving things in slowly. He is excited for the couches and TV. I don't blame him. My couches are the shit! My second bed really. I am excited about moving in... nervous and scared at the same time... I get butterflies thinking about us living together and making this step in our lives. I am super happy right now, and when I think of where I want to be living and making a home, I want to do that with him. I really do. I hope the dogs work out, thats the ONE thing that is making me super nervous right now.... So nervous! AHHHH!!!!!

Bitter Sweet

My friend Cat and Bill had their perfection delivered the other day! I just saw her picture for the first time, she is ridiculously beautiful! And, like we already knew... Perfect!

I am very very very happy for my friends. Makes me very happy to write this about them! I miss Cat and Bill very much. I hope I get to see them soon.

A Miracle Has Been Born!

At 5:10a today Eleanor Bayly was born!

I am so happy and relieved for Cat and Bill! What a wonderful summer gift!
